June Etzler

June A. Etzler, 83, of Motley died on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN. Services for June will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church in Cushing, MN with Pastor Dawson Grover officiating and a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will take place in the spring at Cushing Union Cemetery in Cushing, MN.

June was born on June 12, 1930 to Falk and Christine (Erickson) Stroman in Swanville, MN. She married Adolf "Bud" Etzler on June 18, 1949 in Little Falls, MN. June was a cook at St. Otto's Care Center, Madden's, Lin Club, Castaway and was a member of the Lincoln Ladies Aide. She enjoyed gardening, canning, garage sales, feeding birds, quilting, sewing, fishing and caring for others.

June is survived by her children, Donny of Motley, Roger (Teresa Wagner) of Nisswa, Paul of Browerville, Mike of Browerville, Phyllis (Mark) Plattner of Staples, Lois (Dwayne) Walters of Staples, Chet (Sheila) of Staples, Tim of Pillager, Nancy (Scott) Purington of Lindstrom, Randy of Staples, Kelley (Jamie) of Managha, Tony (Nikki Carlson) of Staples; brother, Mickey Stroman; 30 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Bud"; parents; and six siblings.
