June Irene Brostrom

June Irene Brostrom, age 93, of Baxter, MN, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2022 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Baxter.

Funeral Services for June will be held on Friday August 5, 2022 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation for friends and family beginning at 10:00am, and the memorial service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.  

June was born to Alex and Helen (Howard) Erickson on February 8, 1929 in Ironton, MN. She obtained her LPN license, and worked for the Brainerd State Hospital for many years.

Her love of sewing showed through many beautiful pieces that she created. She loved baking and cooking, and she loved a challenging crossword puzzle.

June is survived by her children Jo Ann Miles, Stephen (Marcelle) Doland, Patricia Ross, and Michele (Dave) Leibold.

She is preceded in death by husbands Stephen Doland and Dale Brostrom, her infant son John Doland, her parents, four sisters and three brothers.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
