Juliene Reed

June 15, 1952 — November 30, 2007

Juliene JillAnne Reed suddenly but peacefully completed her earthly journey at her Crosslake home on Friday evening, November 30, 2007. Memorial services will be Thursday, December 6, at 3 pm, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. A celebration of life reception will follow, in Brennys reception room. Jill was born in Minneapolis, June 15, 1952 to Gerald and Louise (Erickson) Hirdler. She grew up in Richfield and graduated from Academy of the Holy Angels School in 1970. She and her husband Phil raised their family in Bloomington. Her career in office management began with working for New Morning Windows in Bloomington. Bruce and Jill moved to Crosslake in 1997 and owned and operated the landmark Pink Liquor Store on Hwy 371 in Baxter. For the past several years she has been the office administrator for Edina Realty in Baxter and in Crosslake. Jills sparkling eyes and sweet smile brought laughter and good will, along with her competence and professionalism, to agents and to the public that Edina Realty served. Jills Edina familywill treasure her memory always. Jills favorite season was summer, when she and Bruce generously shared with their family and many friends their home and dock on Rush Lake on the Whitefish Chain. Her first priority was always her family. For Jill, the sun rose and set in Bruce and her children, Shawn and Jennifer; but it was her granddaughters, Marley and Tory, who hung the moon and stars. Jill will be missed by all those who loved her. Jill is survived by her significant other and best friend, Bruce (Gramps) Sahli; her daughter, Jennifer Reed, of Plymouth; Her son, Shawn (Angie) and granddaughters, Marley and Tory, of Isanti; and her brothers, Larry (Linda) Hirdler, Rosemount, Paul (Vicki) Hirdler, Burnsville, and James (Bonnie) Hirdler, Phillips, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jerrilyn. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.www.brenny.com
