Julle Ann Middelstadt, 87, of Crosslake, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 15, 2024, in Crosslake. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 19, 2024, at 10:30am at Mission of the Cross Church in Crosslake, MN. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. A private family burial will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2024, at 11:00am at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Julle was born on April 4, 1936, in Canada. She is the daughter of Romeo Francis and Yvonne Mary Cloutier. She graduated from St. Margaret’s Academy in June of 1954. Julle worked as an insurance underwriter agent at Community State Bank in Bloomington, MN, and IMI Insurance Services in Minneapolis. She served as President of the Minnesota Insurance Underwriters Association from 1983 to 1984. A very prestigious accomplishment for Julle was that she was the first female to obtain a Building Fire Inspection Certification.
She was a compassionate, loving person who loved helping the community. She served as President of the Ladies Guild and was a volunteer at the Clothes Closet. Julle enjoyed boating, fishing, bowling, and bubble baths. She loved all animals, but especially dogs and red cardinals.
Julle is survived by her husband of 49 years, Don Middelstadt, her children Mary (Costa) Arabatzis, Sue (Joel) Nelson, Robin Hansen, Wesley Middelstadt; and seven grandchildren, Angelica, Christopher and James Arabatzis, Paige, Tyler and Carter Nelson, and Ryan Erbst, and two great-grandchildren Hannalyn and Serenity.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
