Julia Evanson

Julia Evanson, age 41, of Nisswa, passed away Thursday night as the result of an auto accident. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10, at Salem Lutheran Church, 120 Archibald Raod, Deerwood, MN. Friends are welcome to gather from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter, also for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Bay Lake Township Cemetery.
Julia Bell Evanson was born on October 27, 1967, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Allen and Patricia (Vanda) Bell. She graduated from Burnsville High School and went on to Cosmetology School. In 1993 she moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area. In September 2003 she was united in marriage to Jeff Evanson. She was employed by Rels Title as a closing supervisor and has been in the banking and title insurance industry for the past 16 years. Being actively involved in the community she was the Committee Chair for the Mid-Minnesota Builders Association, active member of GLAR, coach for local figure skating, volunteer for Special Olympics, Camp Confidence fishing tournament with Ernies on Gull and other local tourism events. Among the things she enjoyed most were spending time at the cabin on Bay Lake, boating, and ice fishing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Bell; and twin nephews, Joshua and Jeremy Bell. Julia will be lovingly missed by her husband, Jeff of Nisswa; father, Allen Bell of Bay Lake; brother, Jon (Lisa) Bell and nephews, Josh and Andy of Plymouth; Grandma Millie of Brainerd; in-laws, Wally and Darlene Evanson of Fargo, Jason Evanson and family; Terri Corbo and family; aunt and uncle, Mike & Rayeanne Vanda; and cousins, Amy, Debi, and Jenny.

Julia was the most beautiful, kind-hearted, woman and will be deeply missed by all.
