Judy Robinson

Judy A. Robinson passed on 4/1/2004 after a long cancer illness. Judy was born to Otto & Ruth Kleve on 22 March 1943 in Royal Oak, Michigan. At the age of five, Judy and her family moved to Spruce, Michigan, South of Alpena where the family engaged in farming. Following graduation from Alcona Community High School in 1961, Judy worked for the Department of Defense at the Pentagon. She transferred to AirForce Command in Los Angeles where she met and married Daniel Robinson. Judy and her husband moved to Havre, Montana where they owed and operated a jewelry business. Following their divorce, Judy continued operating a jewelry business in Cutbank, Montana. She was designated by the American Gemological Society as a certified Diamondtologist. After her cancer diagnosis and unable to operate her business, the store was closed. Judy moved to Baxter, Minnesota where she lived with her youngest sister Ruth Norman for two years.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (1987) and her father, Otto (1998). She is survived by her sisters: Mrs. Patricia Hiske of Belleville, Michigan, Mrs. Donna (Frank) Leonhardt of Spruce, Michigan, Dr. Peggy Lane of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Sherry (Dale) Reberg of Arlington, Minnesota, and Mrs. Ruth (Tom) Norman of Baxter, Minnesota. She is also survived by her nieces Nickolle Selinger of Woodbury, Minnesota, Lucy (Brad) Cole of Lincoln, Michigan: Heidi (Matt) Orr of Lincoln Park, Michigan; a nephew, Ryan Selinger of Woodbury, Minnesota; grandnieces Malyk Edwards of Brainerd, Minnesota; Karina Cole and Kendra Cole, of Lincoln, Michigan; and grand nephew Alex Cole of Lincoln, Michigan. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 7 PM with visitation 1 hour before. Donations in Judy?s memory may be made to St. Joseph?s Hospice, 523 North 3rd Street, Brainerd, Minnesota 56401 and the American Cancer Society.
