Judy Darlene Hanson was born on November 8, 1951 to William Hanson and Vivian (Flansburg) Dickman in Wadena, MN and was brought home to the Leader area. Judy was baptized in the Swan Valley Lutheran Church also in Leader. Judy was born again on September 15, 2003 and her spirit joined her father, her younger brother Billy Hanson, and her eldest son Darrell "George" Wold in heaven on June 16, 2011.
Judy inherited her strength and perseverance from her mother Vivian who continues to reside in Motley, MN. Judy is survived by six beloved brothers and sisters. Darold Hanson of Stansfield, MN, Jeannie (Raymond) Churchill of Merrifield, MN, Joyce (Jim) Brune of Frazee, MN, Joan (Donnie) Thomas of Brainerd, MN, Daniel Germann and David Germann both of Motley, MN.

Judy is the loving mother of Melissa Cyr of Mound, MN, Angela (Joseph) Morgan of LaGrange, TX, Tomasena (Joel) Lingenfelter of Staples, MN, Jennifer Judd and Chauncey Judd both of Motley, MN.
She was instrumental in the upbringing of her ten grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Christian, Brianna, Chelsea, Sienna, Avery, Ethan, Abigail and Cole. She changed more diapers than can be counted, made the best dinner rolls, combed her uncles hair like a professional, she hated spiders, she loved her cat, Cherokee and her dog, Lacey. She was merciful in her life and God was merciful in her death. Her legacy of strength, grace and mercy will live on in all of her family and friends that she left behind.
