Judy Hittle

Judy Hittle, age 70 of Motley died November 22nd in Yuma, Arizona. A memorial service will be held Friday December 7th at 2:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Motley. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

Judy was born in Rochester Indiana on May 11th 1948 to John and Margaret Hittle. She and her family moved to Staples Minnesota in 1957. While growing up on the farm, she learned what hard work was. In 1966, she graduated from Staples High School and on September 2, 1966 she married Dennis Anderson and moved to the Fergus Falls area before returning to Motley in 1973. They had two children, Dawn and David.

Judy worked hard all of her life and held several jobs including Farming, Two Rivers Grocery, Motley Elementary School, El-Ray Truck Stop and Craguns Resort where she retired.

Judy was passionate about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her children and grandchildren. She gave all that she had to those she loved. Other interests included 4-H, Church functions, sewing, crafting and scrapbooking. She spent countless hours volunteering, helping others and made sure her children were involved in sports, music, 4-H and Church. Her faith guided everyday life.

She is survived by her beloved dog Sam, Dawn (Jeff) Wohlert of Baxter, David (Stacey) Anderson of Elk River, four cherished grandchildren, Austin Wohlert, Evan Wohlert (Taylor Erickson), Emily Anderson and Nicholas Anderson. Sisters Peggy (Brad) Frisk of Pillager and Cindy Williams of Baxter, 10 nephews and nieces, her confidants at group and her Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Hittle, infant brother Jackie Hittle, Danny Hittle and nephew Robert Bruun. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
