Judy Gunn

Judy C. Gunn, 54, of Browerville, MN passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at St. Cloud VA Hospital in St. Cloud, MN after a battle with cancer. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00AM with a visit one hour prior at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Randall, MN.

Sissy was born on February 12, 1963 in Savannah, GA to Jerry and Heidi (Heieck) Faulk. Soon after the family moved to Minnesota. Sissy grew up on the family farm in Browerville, MN. She joined the United States Navy in 1981 and served our country for three years. Sissy married Ray Russell in 1983 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Randall. She was a “yarn-a-holic” and loved the new knitting loom, making countless gifts for friends and family. Sissy loved the cows and cats on the farm and most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.

Sissy is survived by her son, Raymond (Tara) Russell of Motley, MN; “papa”, Henry Gunter of Browerville; brothers, Jerry (Deb) and John Faulk of Staples; step-brother, Josh George of Plant City, FL; and sisters, Jerri, Sherri, and Jamie Faulk of Plant City, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Heidi. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
