Judy Dukowitz

Judy Dukowitz, age 50, of Cushing , passed away Sunday, October 25, at Lakewood Health Systems in Staples, Minnesota. Services will be Friday, October 30, at 11:00 AM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with Pastor Steve Sveom officiating. Visitation is Thursday, October 29, from 5:00  7:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.

Judy was born in Bertha, Minnesota, and raised in the Philbrook area. She graduated from Staples High School, and attended cosmetology school in Wadena, Minnesota. She was the owner of Judys Hairstyling Junction in Motley. She also worked at Friendlys Bar part-time for over 30 years. Judy enjoyed baking, cooking and canning, hunting with her son, and fishing. She was always doing something for others. Her family and her grandchildren were a priority in her life.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys (Smith); brother, Andrew; brother-in-law, Gary; Butchs parents, Harold and Hazel Bridge.

Judy is survived by her fiancée, Butch Bridge; children, Michael (Nicole); Anita Chounard and Austin Bridge; her three grandchildren, Tyler, Lynnzie, and Drake; sisters, Sherie (Carl) Jansen, Vonnie Smith, Linda Hybl, Brenda (Kevin) Seefeldt and Jodee (Joe) Dvorak; and many nieces and nephews.
