Judith Sternal

Judith “Judi” Sternal of Nisswa, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on November 29th, 2018 at the age of 75 at St. Cloud Hospital. Judi was born in Duluth, MN April 19th, 1943 to Eleanor and Edmond Sternal.

Judi was a social butterfly and loved being around people. In her younger years she enjoyed ice skating, dancing, and being in the Denfeld Sr. High Drum & Bugle Core. Judi enjoyed the outdoors including camping, fishing, and was an animal lover. She loved to travel, cook, and dine out at the finest restaurants. She was very proud of the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as she loved them with all of her heart. Judi recently moved in with her daughter in Nisswa, MN and was enjoying life to the fullest watching the birds, squirrels, nature, and she cherished every moment of each day with family and friends. Judi was a unique, smart, and wonderful person who will be dearly missed by those she touched by her life. We know when God called her home, she would have received the most beautiful angel wings and her infectious giggle would have been heard throughout the heavens.

We want to thank the City of Nisswa First Responders, Staff of St. Joseph’s ER, LifeLink III, North Memorial Ambulance, and the CentraCare Heart & Vascular Team in St. Cloud for providing her with the utmost care, respect and dignity during her remaining time with us.

Judi is survived by her children, Jeffrey Thomas (Karla) Saucier, Catherine Marie (Gene Seczko) Saucier, and Janine Allison (Brian) Zitzow; grandchildren, Michael (Cassandra) Girling, Daniel (Caroline) Girling, David Saucier, Amy Saucier, Brian J. Zitzow, Travis Zitzow, Carlos Adame, Ivonne Saucier, Sean Seczko, and Anna Seczko; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Girling and Emmett Girling; sisters, Deanna Jean Ritchie and Mary Thoorsell; and nieces, Marissa DiBlasio, Joelle Shostell, Tressa Johnson, and EleAnn Mulholland.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Edmond Sternal; nephew, Edward Thoorsell; and great-grandson Alexander Girling.

Services for Judi will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa.
