Judith Smith

Judith Lynne Smith, age 76, of Merrifield, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at her home. She was born to Herbert and Margarite Garkey on February 22, 1944, in Rockford, IL, where she lived for 75 years. Judy married Gary Smith on March 7, 1964. She enjoyed bowling, word search puzzles and SMSF Club, but her family and friends were of paramount importance to her.

Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gary; children: Brian Smith (Lisa), Denise Wilkins (Ron), Janet Strain (Scott), Christina Pio (Scott); brothers, Robert and Richard Garkey; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Garkey.
