Judith Hietala

Judith Hietala, 72, of Wadena, MN died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Heritage House in Sebeka, MN. Services for Judith will be 4:00PM, Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with a visitation one hour prior to services.

Judith was born June 11, 1944 in Eden Valley, MN to Chris and Hilaria (Klein) Schreiner. She graduated from Eden Valley High School and the St. Cloud School of Nursing. Judith worked as an RN in Wadena and Staples. She was a 15-year survivor of pancreatic cancer. She loved watching college and professional sports, her pets, but most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.

Judith is survived by her children, Brad Roos, John Roos, Brenda Roos; step children, Dean (Marla) Hietala, Sonja (Tony) Blinkhorn; grandchildren, Payton, Wyatt, Sierra, Sawyer, Carter; siblings, Elaine Ludwig, Joan Doyle, MaryLou Ruhland, Robert Schreiner, Annette Paul, James Schreiner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Hilaria; husband, Robert; grandchild, Noah; brothers, Gilbert and Maynard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
