Joyce Vasecka

Joyce Vasecka, age 87, of Pine River, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 15, 2015. She was born to Emil and Gladys Hultgren on August 25, 1927, in Todd County, MN. Joyce was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing people their favorite meal. She enjoyed playing cards, especially "Smear", and loved gardening and making the most delicious dill pickles. Joyce was very patriotic and was proud of our veterans. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother full of joy and love. Words cannot express how much we will miss her!

Joyce is survived by her children: Doug Vasecka (Robin), Glen Vasecka (Randy), Karen Cave, Joan Smith (David), John Vasecka; sister, Mayme Bartella; 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and sister, Betty Erickson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Saturday, August 22, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Ponto Lake Cemetery. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
