Joseph Vaughn

Joseph “Joe” Vaughn, 29, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 30th at his home in Pillager. A Memorial Service for Joe will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, April 5th at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with visitation for one hour prior to the service.

Joe was born on December 17, 1988 at Fridley, Minnesota, son of Russell Vaughn and Susan Caspers. He grew up and was educated in Pillager, graduating from high school there in 2007. He had planned to go truck driving with his dad and was to have started school in Tennessee this week. He was a computer gamer, Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed Game of Thrones, and watching baseball. Musically, he enjoyed Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa, he was a runner and loved wildlife, especially feeding the birds. Friends and family knew him for his teasing and sense of humor. He was a kind and gentle person who will be truly missed by his family.

He is survived by his dad: Russell of Pillager; mom: Susan (Clark) Waddell of Staples; brother: Matthew (Jenny) of Baxter; a niece and nephew: Keaira and Jacob; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.brenny.com
