Joseph Marcum

Joseph Calvin Marcum, age 66, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his home. He was born to George and Marcella Marcum on April 30, 1949, in Brainerd. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. Joe married Josephine Dashorst on March 23, 1968, at Christ Community Church, Nisswa. He was a member of the Celebration Community Beach Church and the American Legion in Naples, FL.

Joe is survived by his wife, Josephine; son, Jason Marcum (Midori); daughter, Andrea Hayes (Ryan); grandchildren, Misato and Kyosuke Marcum; and sisters: Cora Filius, Loretta Boileau (Hank) and Frances Peterson (Paul).

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, June 27, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
