Joseph JoeEvans, 83, of Randall, died Wednesday February 6, 2008 at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 11, 2008 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall with Fr Leo Moenkedick officiating. Interment will follow services at the St. James Cemetery. Relatives will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM on Sunday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall and one hour prior to services at the church. Joe Evans is survived by his wife, DoLores De; two sons, Thomas (Diane) Evans, of Randall, and J. (Joseph) (Jeanette) Evans, of New Richmond, WI; one daughter, Laurie (Michael Kysley) Evans, of Burlington, Ontario; two sisters, Eleanor Thorson, of Little Falls and Mary Ann Justin, of Little Falls; two brothers, Larry Evans, of Satellite Beach, FL and Bob Evans, of Ogden, UT; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joe Evans was born on May 11, 1924 in Randall, the son of Joseph and Ann (Horvath) Evans. He graduated from Little Falls High School. He entered the US Navy. Following his honorable discharge he joined the Minnesota National Guard and was deployed to France for three years. He was united in marriage to DoLores Ringwelski on July 6, 1949 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. He started Evans Implement in Randall which he owned and operated until his retirement. He was a member of St James Catholic Church in Randall where he served as usher and member of the church council and Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Randall VFW and American Legion. He was a past member of the Randall Fire Department. He enjoyed playing cards, fixing and repairing, fishing, volunteering countless hours serving his church and community, and delivering meals on wheels. He was on the board of directors of Eagle Court.
