Joseph E. Bielefeld, age 52, of Verndale, passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Thursday, October 21. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery.

Enjoyed: playing computer games, card games, going to movies or watching them at home, making things, doing Circle-A-Word puzzles, Country Western music, collecting piggy banks, going to concerts in the park, driving his John Deere lawn tractor, snowmobiling, going for rides in the car, loved animals, especially his ponies and dogs, loved visiting with others, loved helping others, especially loved his french poodle "Spencer".

Preceded in death by: brother - Charles Patrick Bielefeld; sister - Mary Bielefeld; both maternal and fraternal grandparents; one aunt and four uncles.

Survived by: Parents - Charles & Margaret (Verndale); Sisters - Colleen Weber (New Haven, IA) and Sandra Sneed (Verndale); Niece - Michelle (Micky) Weber (Verndale); Nephew - Mark Weber (Waterloo, IA); grand niece - Bianca Weber (Verndale); three aunts; two uncles and lots of friends
