Joni Frigaard

Joni Frigaard, age 55, of Pine River, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, at her home. She was born April 29, 1957, in St. Paul, MN.

Joni is survived by her husband, Marty; children: Cody Oaks (Melody), Daisy Frigaard (Scott), Katie Hopwood (Lester); parents, Larry & Freck Oaks; grandchildren: Anthoni and Zoie Yang; brothers: Doug Oaks (Paula), Tom Oaks (Sarah), Kenny Oaks, Gordy Oaks, Steve Oaks (Norma), Jim Oaks, Larry Oaks (Jenny); sisters: Teresa Trujillo (Gilbert), Bunny Oaks, DeeJay Quick (Scott), Karen Birchem (Scott); many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica.

Services will be 1 PM on Friday, August 10, at Whitefish Community Church, Pine River, with Pastor Jeff Liesmaki officiating (casual attire only, please). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery, Pine River.
