Jonathan Kub

Jonathan Joseph Kub, 39, of Nisswa, MN, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 24, 2016 at his family cabin at Ponto Lake.

Jon was born May 24, 1977, to Gary and Gayle (Zimmerman) Kub. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1995 and earned a degree from Northwestern Technical College in Wadena. His first love was technology - anything that had to do with electronics. He worked for Computer One for many years before starting and operating his own business, Jon's Computer Repair. He enjoyed his work and his customers.

Jon also enjoyed music, movies, target shooting, old cars, fishing, and time spent at the cabin on Ponto Lake with family and friends. He will be missed.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Gayle, of Baxter; brother, Nate (fiancé, Jennifer Moore), of Vista, CA; four cousins, three aunts; one uncle; and the three little boys. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, Dave.

There will be a visitation for Jon on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 4-6 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church 16898 Carlson Lake Road Brainerd, MN. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a reception following Mass at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
