Jon Ohman

Jon E. Ohman, 57, of Bemidji died on Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Dickinson, ND. Mass of Christian Burial for Jon will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating, with a visitation on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd, MN.

Jon was born on February 14, 1956 in St. Cloud, MN to Earl and Rosie (Tholl) Ohman. He graduated from St. Cloud Tech in 1974 and St. Cloud State with a degree in marketing in 1979. Jon married Cynthia Peters on February 28, 1981 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Brainerd. They lived in Brainerd, Sartell, Minot, ND and the last three years in Bemidji, where Jon was a district manager for Deli Express. Jon especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, hunting, golf, and traveling.

Jon is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Joshua (Ashley), Eric (Brenna), Christopher (Lisa), Kimberly (Jesse); grandchildren, Logan, Anika, Quinn, DeSean, Aubrey, Coleton, Brylee, Daniel; and man's best friend, his dog Wynston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie and Earl Ohman and father in law, Dan Peters.
