John Ronlund

John Ray Ronlund, 73, passed away September 5 in Brainerd, MN. John was born October 19, 1939, the son of Reimer and Hedvig (Duff Hanson) Ronlund. He grew up in Luverne, MN and attended Worthington Junior College and Mankato State University. He owned and operated several businesses, among them Ronlund Supply in Mankato and Minnewawa Lodge in Nisswa. He most recently retired from St. Paul Stamp Works. He was a member of Timberwood Church. He had a passion for restoring old British cars, wood boats and furniture. He will be greatly missed by friends and family for his great advice, charm and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christine Marks; grandson George Peter Ronlund; and five of his beloved springer spaniels. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Stacy (Mike) Erholtz, Christine Ronlund, Peter (Kate) Ronlund, Sam (Laura) Ronlund; and grandchildren, Claire, Eleanor, and Oliver Erholtz, Bretton Ronlund, and Gus and Cleo Ronlund.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Timberwood Church in Nisswa.
