John Pawlicki

John Pawlicki, age 68, of Pine River, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, at his home. He was born March 22, 1945, in Hankinson, ND, to Chrysantha and Leo Pawlicki. John married Kathleen Rader on Feb. 27, 1965, in Lidgerwood, ND. He enjoyed tinkering on his tractors, learning everything possible about computers, country living, and being retired. Most of all, he loved spending time with his two grandchildren as "Grandpa John". He was a very generous, caring, gracious and loving man who will be deeply missed by family and friends.

John is survived by his two daughters, Sherri (Brian) Sundlie and Sheila Pawlicki; grandchildren, Mikayla and Benjamin Sundlie; brother, Albert Pawlicki; sisters, Anne (Roman) Heley, and Joyce Sandgren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Kathleen; and his oldest brother, Bernie Pawlicki.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at St. Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes, with Father Michael Patullo officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
