John Keiffer

John W. ?Jack? Keiffer, age 80, of Crosslake died on Saturday, May 19, 2001, at his home. A Mass of Resurrection will be held in his memory at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake, on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Dennis Hoffman officiating. Memorials are preferred, to the American Cancer Society or the Immaculate Heart Building Fund. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Jack Keiffer was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 5, 1920 to Wylie and Maude (Baker) Keiffer. He grew up and attended schools in Minneapolis, graduating from DeLaSalle High School. He worked in the metro area as a business executive, owning his own businesses. He was married to Donna Mae Schlauch in Watertown, SD, on December 21, 1968. The family lived in Plymouth, and began vacationing in Crosslake in 1969. Six years ago he and Donna moved to Crosslake permanently. He was a member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions, and CC Camp.

Jack Keiffer is survived by his wife Donna; three sons, Scott Keiffer of Minnetonka, Michael Keiffer of Roseville, and John Keiffer of Pequot Lakes; two daughters, Cathy Kleven of Plymouth and Terry Draeger of Fairbault; a sister, Delores Haynes of Coon Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
