John Heideman

John M. Heideman, 66, of Brainerd, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Good Samaritan Village - Woodland. Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing Monday evening (August 1) from 5-7 PM at the Washburn McReavy Chapel - Edina (W 50th Street and HWY 100 at Vernon Avenue). There will also be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 2, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with a visitation one hour prior to services and a luncheon to follow.

John was born November 26, 1944, the son of Carl W. and Violet (Husnik) Heideman. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his wife, Nancy Christopher Keithley Heideman; son Christopher (Patty) Keithley; and daughter, Carla Hunt; 13 wonderful grandchildren, Colton, Kyle, Quinn, Caleb, Abigail, Sarah, Andrew, Gianna, Megan, Kaitlyn, Tim (Genesis), Daniel and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Vayda and Cavan; brothers, Vance (Gloria) Heideman and Paul Heideman; sisters, Bonnie "Babe" Jenny and Darlene Johnson; brothers-in-law, Dale Christopher, Todd Christopher, and John (Jan) Christopher; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved. He was preceded in death by both, his beloved mother, Violet and brother, Carl in 1997.

John dearly loved his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beth Gralow and Edgar Christopher. He cherished his special relationship with Edgar. He enjoyed all of his Paint Department Customers at Mills Fleet Farm.

John's family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and numerous prayers, especially, Sheila Harper, Lila Thady and Gerald Hunt.
