John Harvey

Harvey, John Clyde age 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 22, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital, Brainerd, Minnesota due to Covid and other complications. He was born on April 24, 1944, to Clyde Harvey and Doreen (Blommer) Harvey in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. He was married to Norma (Wegener) Harvey for 58 years and had two children Shawn (Harvey) Hugo and Jeff Harvey.

John graduated high school from St. Cloud Cathedral. He was a supervisor at Waldorf/Rock-Tenn and retired after 35 years. His favorite pastimes were fishing, bowling, watching sports/movies, and eating treats.

Preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Doreen Harvey, and his Grandson Micheal Harvey.  Survived by his wife Norma Harvey of Baxter, Daughter Shawn Hugo of Woodbury, Son Jeff (Denise) Harvey of Ramsey. Siblings Sandy (Bernie) Schmitt, Tom (Colleen) Harvey, Glenn (Sharon) Harvey.  Grandsons: Jordan (Kate) Harvey and Matthew (Meghan) Harvey. Granddaughters: Kaitlyn Hugo and Jessica Harvey. Great-grandchildren are Malakai and Lillyann Harvey.

Memorial Service Tuesday April 5th, 2022, at 11:00am at Brenny Funeral Home Baxter, Minnesota, with social hour at 10:00am and a light luncheon to follow. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka, Minnesota on a future date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
