John Edward Ciminski, 64, of Brainerd, unexpectedly passed away from medical issues on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Services will be 11am on Tuesday August 2nd at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior.
John was the younger son of Edward and Lorraine (Adams) Ciminski. After high school, John attended St. Thomas College and then the U of MN to become a pharmacist, and operated a pharmacy in Big Lake, MN. He eventually moved to the Brainerd area fifteen years ago to be closer to his family.
John is survived by his siblings, David (Joan), Mary Beth (James) Thibodeau, Donna (David) Burggaff, Laurie (George) Bonnand; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; and three beloved cats, Norton, Bell, and Digs. He is preceded by his parents Edward and Lorraine.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ACT Team, Brainerd Police Department, MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Baxter Police Department, Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, MN DNR – Enforcement Division, Brainerd Fire Department, Crow Wing County Drone Team, and the K9 search and rescue team from Central Lakes Search and Rescue.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
