John Bohall

John Leon “Honda” Bohall, of Backus, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on May 18, 2020. He was born December 29, 1961, to Garold Bohall and Lorretta Hardy (Buchite).

John grew up in the Crosslake area. He was raised on a farm and loved the outdoors. John was an avid fisherman and hunter. One of his favorite pastimes was camping with his family. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and 500. John was an excellent meat cutter and carpenter. He had a unique sense of humor and way of making people laugh. John was also known for his love of wiener dogs.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Bohall. Survivors include his son, Chad Auer (Amanda); daughter, Shannon Swenson (Nick); son, Roger Bohall (Keya); brothers, Al Bohall (Tina), Rick Bohall; sister, Lori Smith; uncles, Buck Buchite, Al Buchite; former wife and friend, Jennifer Seeman; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will begin at 12 Noon on Sunday, July 12. Please contact the family for location and other details.
