Joanne Fischer of Randell, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away surrounded by family on the morning of July 11th. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 17th at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, with a visitation being held prior at 10 AM. The burial will be after at Randall City Cemetery.
Joanne Mary Fischer was born on May 11th, 1949, in Long Prairie to the late William and Joan Maschler. She graduated high school in Browerville and attended Wadena Technical College. She worked as a teller at First National Bank and retired as an insurance agent at Bieganek Insurance. At the Little Falls Courthouse in November 2008, she married Danny Fischer. Joanne had a love for flowers, gardening and trinkets, which could be seen in the yard she shared with Danny in Randall. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and anything Vincent van Gogh. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Danny Fischer, siblings Jeannie (Scott) McLaughlin, Joe Maschler, and Susie (Randy) Seelen; brother-in-law David Parteka; children Ben (Jess) Kedrowski and Kris (Joel) Odenbrett; grandchildren Bailey and Logan Kedrowski, Trevor and Ashley Odenbrett, Liam, Kyla and Daxton Kedrowski and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joan Maschler, siblings Kathy Parteka and Billy (Kim) Maschler, and niece Angie Maschler.
Arrangements were made by Brenny Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services in Randall, MN.
