Joanne Fischer

JoAnne Arlene Fischer, 75, of Little Falls died peacefully on Monday May 2nd, 2011 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls Minnesota.

JoAnne was born on July 24th, 1935 in Fergus Falls, MN. to Ralph and Vera Rudsenske. She spent her entire life in Minnesota. The mother of eight children, she raised her family in the Twin Cities area and retired to Little Falls where she and her daughter Christina Hayes lived together for the last six years.

She enjoyed the company of eight children, twelve grandchildren, five great-grand children and her dear friends. Her beloved dogs; Dogee, Mollee and Cocoa were a great joy and comfort to her. Her hobbies included reading, flower gardening, and bird watching. Antique and garage sales continued to feed her passion for collecting through the years.

In her daily forays, she reached out to young and old alike and her kind comments would inevitably bring a smile or a hug from those she met. It was said of JoAnne that she never met a stranger…but if you were strange, she would let you know.

JoAnne will be sadly missed by her children; Rebecca (Kelly) Thomas of MN, Shandra Beri of CA, Patrick (Marta) Fischer of CA, Christina (Mike Stumpf) Hayes of MN, Michael T. (Robin) Fischer of NJ, Deanna (Scott) Mercer of MN, Kelly (Essie) Fischer of AL, and Casey Fischer of MN; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for family and friends will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Randall.
