Joan Stradley

Joan Stradley, 75, of Emily died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Emily, MN. Services for Joan will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN with visitation one-half hour prior to services.

Joan was born on June 10, 1938 in Lynn, MN to Howard and Hattie (Moore) Atwood.
She lived most of her life in the Emily area. Joan was a certified nurses aide for Good Neighbor Home Care. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and crafts.

Joan is survived by children, Kevin (Corrine) Haffner of Outing, MN, Dale (Sandy) Haffner of Grey Eagle, MN, Colleen Smith of Alaska, Rodney Haffner of Duluth, MN, Michelle (Dave) Schilling of Alaska, Michael Haffner of Sauk Centre, MN, and Brian (Kelly) Haffner of St. Joseph, MN; sisters, Vera Mae Matthewson of Gaylord, MN, Janice Atwood of Sand Point, IN, and brother, Everett (Betty) Atwood of IN; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Vivian Pearcy, Ernestine Frahm, Irene Fletcher, Audrey Fletcher; and brother, Dale Atwood.
