June 10, 1971 — May 26, 2024

Breezy Point

Jill Marie (Luban) Freking, age 53 of Breezy Point, MN passed away in her home Sunday morning, May 26th, 2024, after a four year courageous battle with Breast Cancer.

Growing up in Roseville, Jill graduated high school in 1988 before attending North Dakota State University where she majored on Early Childhood Development.

In September of 2000 she married Brett Freking, whom she met at a mutual friend’s going away party. Her pride and joy followed with the arrival of their two sons, Jarrett and Nikolas.

She was an immensely loving and caring wife and mother and will forever be missed.

As an avid Minnesota Wild and NDSU Bison fan and an all-around sports enthusiast, she loved attending and cheering on her boys in all their school sporting events and did so till the very end.  Jill was so loved by her family and always put them first in her life.  She enjoyed camping, hiking, gardening, boating and many other outdoor activities with them.  Her wit, laugh, and generosity will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to know her well.

Jill is survived by her husband Brett Freking; Children Jarrett Freking and Nikolas Freking; sisters, Lynne Luban, Raine Mcgeorge and Madeleine Westbrook.

She was preceded in death by her mother Audrey Pietrick and father James Luban.
