Jewel Schilling

Jewel Lorraine Schilling, 91, of Brainerd, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. A private family service will be held at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.

Jewel was born on December 02, 1929 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Wallace and Elizabeth (Paulson) Johnston. She was married to Alfred Curtis Schilling on December 11, 1948 in Brainerd, MN. Together they raised three children. Jewel was a partner with Al in Schilling Logging and Lumber for thirty-five years. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, and watching wildlife. Jewel will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Cindy (Bill) Potvin, and Wendy Rosnau; four siblings; and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Debra, and her parents.
