Jevonne Ness

Jevonne M. Ness, 83, of Brainerd, MN died on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd, MN. Services for Jevonne will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN with visitation beginning at 12:00PM at the chapel. Interment will be held at Pinewood Cemetery.

Jevonne was born in Ridgeland, WI on October 2, 1934 to Orvil and Minnie (Kari) Wegan. She was a hard worker helping her father log in the woods. She grew up in a family of 10 then also raised 5 children of her own. She loved cooking, gardening, canning, sewing, traveling, and laughing. Jevonne lived many places but her favorite was living on the river in Crosslake, MN for the last 24 years. The most important thing in the world to Jevonne, was her family whom she loved so much.

Jevonne is survived by her five children, Debra McGray, Cindy Willey, Randy Ness, Rick Ness, and Roxanne Miner; five grandchildren, Sara Smith, Abbe McGray, Jeremy Glass, Kasi Nelson, and Justine Ness; six great-grandchildren, Earl Smith, Oliver Smith, Atlin Nelson, Calvin Nelson, Dillon Glass, and Tyler Glass; five sisters; and four brothers.
