Jessie Eue

Jessie Therese Eue, age 53, of Brainerd, MN passed away on Thursday May 26, 2022.

Jessie was born on September 29, 1968 in Brainerd to James (Jim) and Loretta Eue. She graduated from Brainerd High School in 1987.

Jessie was well known in the community-whether it was from working 25 years at Midwest Family Eye Center, or from the many walks she would take around town. She loved her family, especially spending time with her great nephew, Gabe, and her boyfriend of 10 years, Don Ruid. She enjoyed her weekends the most, where she could be found with her boyfriend, and with Gabe.

She had a ‘flair’ for giving her friends and family that she loved special ‘nicknames’. Jessie had longtime friendships and enjoyed playing bingo and dancing with her many friends. She also enjoyed meeting new people. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Jessie enjoyed the simple things in life, and her strong will ensured that she was able to take any obstacle that came her way.

She is survived by her mother, Loretta Eue, her sister Jenny Eue, her niece Creanna Hall, her great nephew, Gabe Hall, her boyfriend of ten years, Don Ruid and his daughter Ella Ruid.

Jessie is preceded in death by her father Jim Eue, her aunt Claire Melstrom, and her grandparents on both sides of the family.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A celebration of Jessie’s life will be held on Sunday June 26, 2022 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at The Woods Event Center in Brainerd.
