Jessica Lindsey

Jessica Rychel Lindsey, 6, of Brainerd, earned her heavenly wings on Monday, September 1, 2008 at Minneapolis Childrens Medical Center in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be 4 pm, Saturday, September 6, at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter, with Reverend Dan Werthman officiating. Friends may visit on Friday, September 5, from 5-8 pm at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, and at the church on Saturday during the hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
Jessica was born August 24, 2002 in Brainerd, the daughter of Ryan and Shelly (Foster) Lindsey. She was born to be Gods child. She loved gymnastics, doing cartwheels everywhere. She always took time to stop and smell the flowers, watch butterflies, appreciate nature, sing aloud and give many prayers of thanks. She truly was a happy child.

Jessicas entire being was larger than life  much larger. She was a helper all of her life and is continuing to help, both here and with her beautiful wings.

She will be dearly missed forever by her parents, Ryan and Shelly Lindsey, of Brainerd; her siblings, Dakota, 16, Zach, 14, and Jaeden, 8; her aunts and uncles, Leola (John) Ward, of Kearney, NE, Randy (Linda) Blake, of Howell, NJ, Myra Lindsey, of Burwell, NE, and Patty (Bob) Prester, of Atlanta, GA; ,many cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dale and Ilene Lindsey, Darrell Foster and Dorothy Foster; and her aunts, Charlene Fortune and Maxine Hruby.
