Jerry Rah

Jerry L. Rah, age 66, of Verndale, passed away at the Lakewood Health System Hospital on Friday, October 22. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held for Jerry on Wednesday, October 27, at 12:30 PM , at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, near Little Falls.



Jerry was born in Waseca , MN , on June 7, 1944 , to Eilerd and Adeline Rah. Jerry served his country in the Army. In 1981, he married Darlene Keppers, in Faribault , MN , and they had two children, Holly and John. In 1989, they moved to Verndale. Jerry worked as a driver all his life, most recently for Mid State Auto Auction in New York Mills. He enjoyed playing in his band, bowling, and raising his children.



Jerry is survived by his children, Holly Rah and fiance, James Wakefield of Little Falls and John Rah and fiance Khala Bestul of Brainerd; granddaughter, Aubrey Rah; brother, Art (Veronica) Rah of Bakersfield, CA; and nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
