Jerome Hines

Jerome Leon Hines, 69, of Baxter, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at his daughter’s home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

Jerome “Joe” was born December 16, 1947, in Brainerd, the son of Leon and Vivian (Kort) Hines. Joe was raised and went to school in Pillager. He started his career working for Potlatch. In 1985, he married Beverly Albrecht and the couple made their home in Merrifield. They also worked together delivering newspapers. In 2005, they moved to Brainerd. Following her death in 2010, Joe moved to Baxter. He enjoyed many activities – riding bike, fishing, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. He also was an avid fan of video games and loved to work on old cars.

He will be missed by his children, Denise (Glen) Pierce, of Ironton, Holly (Todd) Kramer, of Baxter, and Will (Lori) Albrecht, of Brainerd; grandchildren, Crystal, Randy, Kim, Sarah, Brittne, Makayla, Sadie, and William; and great-grandchildren, Ozzi, Eli, Deven, and Azraela. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bev.
