Jerome Callahan

Jerome “Jerry” Callahan, 84, passed away on August 29, 2024. He was born on May 4th, 1940 to Alvin and Inga (Paulson) Callahan. He is survived by sisters, Dorolese “Dolly” Collette (Larry), Karen Leibold; children, Roxanne Meyer (Tony), Jared Callahan (Tika), Amber Callahan (Bryan Dansdill) and Randy Callahan (Sara). He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lorraine Brown, Betty Turnbull, Deloris Neumann, Jackie Dillon, Carmen Harris, Ilene Isle, son; Kim Callahan, and grandson Curtis Meyer.

Jerry chose to reside in Brainerd, MN during the summer, while spending winters in Florida with Eileen Nass, his life partner and love for the last 18 years. Together they enjoyed spending time with friends and family and taking long drives in the countryside with their beloved dog, Ginger, as their companion. Jerry was kid at heart and loved to laugh and have fun. He always liked to stay busy and enjoyed restoring classic cars and tinkering in his shop. He was never idle for long and usually had too many projects to count, but that was just the way he liked it. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 11, 2024 at the Crow Wing Town Hall (located at 10164 Town Hall Street, Brainerd, MN 56401) from 1-4pm.
