Jennifer Dobson

Jennifer Lynn Dobson, age 37, of Pillager passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. Friends and family will gather to remember Jennifer and celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 14th at 2 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with visitation for one hour prior to the service.

Jennifer was born February 3, 1981 in Brainerd, to Robert Dobson and Roxanne Bock. She grew up and attended school in Pillager. She was married and had three children, who were the center of her life. She worked in the mail room at Crow Wing Press in Baxter for 15 years. Jennifer enjoyed country music and loved Elvis Presley. She loved cats and would definitely have agreed with American writer Robert A. Heinlein that, “Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”

Jennifer will be forever remembered and missed by her children, Maranda Hasch, of Pequot Lakes, Kyle Hasch, of Brainerd, and Presley Hasch, of Pillager; her mom, Roxanne Bock, of Pillager; stepdad, Frank Jacobs, of Brainerd; sisters, Rebecca Shearer, of Pillager, Ashley Jacobs, of Brainerd, and step-sister, Cynthia Roehl, of Deerwood; and step-brothers, Scott Jacobs, of Motley, and Joe Jacobs, of Brainerd. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dobson, and a sister, Melissa Dobson.
