Jennie Schaub

Jennie E. Schaub, age 92, of Pequot Lakes, died Thursday evening at the Cuyuna Care Center in Crosby. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in the Brenny Funeral Home Chapel in Crosslake with Reverend Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake. Relatives will receive friends on Tuesday morning after 10:00 at the Funeral Chapel.
Jennie Schaub was born on June 7th, 1910 in South Dakota to Nels and Johanna (Eckman) Nelson. On October 25th, 1937 she married Dale Schaub in Minneapolis, together they lived and raised their family in Bloomington. For many years Jennie worked as a housekeeper at the Dunwoody Boarding House. Following Dale?s retirement they moved to Ideal Corners in October of 1977. Throughout her life Jennie has enjoyed raising flowers and vegtable gardening, as well as knitting and crocheting. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxilary.

Jennie is survived by her 2 daughters; Johanna (Larry) Olmstead of Bloomington, and Vivian (James) Fahlin of Bloomington, a son; Arthur (Paula) Schaub of Pequot Lakes, 11 Grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter; Grace Berry, 3 brothers; John, Otto, and Harry, and a sister; Ellen Johnson.
