Jeffery Sundquist

Jeffery R. Sundquist, 49, of Brainerd died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 11 am, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with the Rev. Father Kristoffer McKusky officiating. Luncheon will follow, at Brennys reception center. Friends may visit during the hour prior to services. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley, with full military honors.
Jeffery Roger Sundquist was born September 22, 1956 in Brainerd, to Roger and Doris (Dechaine) Sundquist. He grew up and attended school in Brainerd. He served his country for three years in the US Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he worked in construction. He was married to his wife, Tammy, in Brainerd on October 19, 1998. He was widowed in 2003. Jeff was an easy-going and generous person. Prior to his declining health he enjoyed fishing.

Jeff will be missed by his mother, Doris, of Brainerd; his father, Roger, of Kansas; a stepdaughter, Nikcole Nelson, Minneapolis; and a sister, Cynthia (Michael) Kawalek, and their children, Melinda and Alicia Kawalek, Inver Grove Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
