Jeannine Bartylla

Jeannine A. Bartylla, 78, of Staples died Friday, August 17 at the St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Monday, August 20 at the United Methodist Church in Staples with Reverend Wes Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. The family will host a visitation Sunday afternoon from 3 - 5 PM at the Brenny Funeral chapel in Staples as well as one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
Jeannine A. Chenoweth was born February 27, 1929 in Staples, MN, the daughter of the late Edgar R. and Eva (Sarff) Chenoweth. She graduated from Staples High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Bartylla June 24, 1948 in Staples. She worked at Reed and Carlson Groceries, and later the Box Factory. She was a member of Staples Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards.

Jeannine is survived by her son, David (Linda) Bartylla, of Staples; her daughter, Roxanne (David) Kasper, of Grand Forks, ND; her brother, Richard Chenoweth, of Staples; and her grandchildren, Scott and Meghan.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1994; her parents; her daughter, Kathleen; two sisters; and a brother.
