Jeanette Mullen

Jeanette Mullen, 92, formally of Fish Trap Lake, MN died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Central Minnesota Senior Care in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Motley, MN with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Jeanette was born on October 21, 1922 in Westhope, North Dakota to Nels and Bernadette (Trudel) Christianson. She married John F. Mullen Sr. and they were married for 56 years. Jeanette graduated from nursing school at Concordia College as a Registered Nurse. She worked for the VA in Fargo, ND before moving onto teaching nursing at S. Luke Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Jeanette finished her nursing career at the VA in Minneapolis, MN. She loved to golf, fish, and to take the pontoon out for a cruise on Fish Trap Lake. She always looked forward to book club and meeting with her girl friends at Girls Club. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.

Jeanette is survived by her son; John F. Mullen Jr; grandson, John (Liz) F. Mullen III; and great-granddaughter, Lillian Mae Mullen. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
