Jean Kruckow

Jean Marie Kruckow, born on January 22, 1938, to Henry and Glorene (Glover) Kramp in Gail Lake Township, MN, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Pine River, MN.

Jean started her adult career as a waitress at Torske’s in Pine River, then at the Pine River Creamery, and finally she worked for 22 years as a secretary at Cenex Gas in Pine River. Jean married Lyle Kruckow on May 27, 1955. Jean enjoyed spending time with family, going on road trips, playing cards and poker parties at her daughter’s house with her grandchildren, doing jigsaw puzzles, and embroidery.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Cathy (John) Araco and Terry (Robert) Tima; grandchildren, Jamie Romness, Jennifer (Troy) Johnson, and Samantha (Tom Garner) Tima; great-granddaughter, Sophia Johnson; siblings, Donald Kramp, Joan (Clyde) DeBolt, Henry (Bev) Kramp Jr., and Julia (Tony) Keen; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle; granddaughter, Heather Tima; and siblings, Richard Kramp and Judy (Carl) Jepperson.

Services will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Backus Church of the Nazarene with a visitation the hour prior to the service.
