Jean Ann Kaspar, age 53, of Lakeshore, MN died Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at St. Joseph?s Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. Services will be Monday, August 6, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, with Pastor Al Klasky officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 5 from 6 ? 8 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and 1 hour before the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Jean Ann Kaspar was born on June 10, 1948 in Aitkin, MN daughter of (Perry) Victor and Ruth (Westby) Carlson. Jean graduated from Crosby High School in 1966. After graduation she when to Little Falls and attended nursing school receiving her LPN license. On May 22, 1971 in Nisswa she was united in marriage to Douglas J. Kaspar. They have lived in Lake Shore for the past 30 years. Jean worked at St. Joseph?s Medical Center for the past 30 years. She enjoyed boating; bowling; dancing and photography. Jean will be remembered as a generous fun-loving person.
Jean is survived by her husband Doug; sons Adam and Tyler both at home; 4 sisters, Judy Monasmith, Janet (Keith) Roberts, Gail (Lois) (John) Fillmore all of Brainerd, Shirley (Jeff) Cook of Cohasset, MN; a brother Dale Carlson of Deerwood, MN. Her parents and stepfather Larry Evans preceded her in death.
