Jean Huntley

Jean Evelyn Huntley, 80, of Brainerd, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 30 at Faith Baptist Church in Brainerd. Private Interment.

Jean was born January 30, 1933, in Elwood, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Klavitter) Beallis. In addition to raising her family, Jean worked as a housekeeper for many years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Woodland Auxiliary, and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her sons, Lawrence, of Pasco, WA and James "Jim", of Brainerd; daughter, Ina Mae Chambliss, of Brainerd; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Deborah Stearns; son, Thomas; and siblings, George, Ralph, and LeRoy Beallis and Phyllis Wilhelmi.
