Jean Hildebrandt

Jean passed away peacefully at her home in Crosslake, MN surrounded by her family on November 5th , 2018, at the age of 76 after a nine month battle with cancer. Jean was born on August 25, 1942 to Berman and Margaret (Johnson) Van Buskirk. She married Charles Hildebrandt on May 22, 1963. Together they raised 3 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Mark; grandson, Brent Jr.; her parents; her step-mother Teresa Van Buskirk; her brother Larry Van Buskirk; sister, Trudy Van Olson and step-sister Patricia Del Testa. Survived by two daughters, Kim Larson, of Crosslake, and Amy (Brent) Schlueter, of Minnetrista; six grandchildren, Hannah, Cole, and Eli Larson, Zackery Ward, and Preston and Parker Schlueter; brothers Alan (Bonnie) Van Buskirk and Berman Van Buskirk, Mike (Shirley) Christensen; sisters Myra Van Buskirk and Sandy (Terry) Hanson; as well as many treasured family and friends. Jean graduated from Henderson High School and worked at several places over the years including the Le Sueur Creamery, Unimin Corporation and Evergreen Villas in Crosslake, MN. Jean will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thanks to the Home Health Partnership Hospice for their care. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date.
