Janice Egan

Janice Marie Egan, 73, of Brainerd, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services and stay for a reception to follow. Private family interment will take place later at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.

Janice was born October 8, 1942, in Crosby, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Fredrickson) Rosier. In 1970, she married Raymond Egan. Janice was so very grateful for the many family and friends who offered much support and love during her good times, and her bad. The family would also like to thank Dr. Hong Li and the medical staff at St. Joseph's Medical Center for all their care.

Janice is survived by her sisters, Judy Nyagiro, of Robbinsdale, Jane (Paul) Christopher, of Waconia, and Brenda (Richard) Olander, of Scottsboro, AL; step-daughters, Phyllis (Ken) Hensel, of Palisade and Cindy (David) Egan, of Crosby; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Skippy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents; and her son, Robert Egan.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Northland Arboretum or HART (Heartland Animal Rescue Team).
