Janice Borden

Janice M. Borden, of Merrifield, MN, peacefully passed away in her home on May 10, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1950 to Dale and Delores Pegel. Jan is survived by her husband Tom, her children Wayne (Brenda) Loberg, Adam (Denise) Loberg, and Paul Loberg, her step children Jorun Nilsson, Jenel (Jon) Boller, and Matthew (Coralea) Borden, her sisters Verna (Bill) Mitchell, and Debra (Pat) Furrie, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gaylan Pegel.

Jan was employed for many years by the State of Minnesota, providing care for disadvantaged individuals. She had special talents for decorating, growing flowers, and music. She was a pianist and organist for her church for many years.

A memorial service with her family, including her church family, is pending at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Seventh Day Adventist Church of Brainerd.
